The Loft Hotel Yangon can be found just off the up and coming Yaw Min Gyi Street, home to some great examples of colonial architecture, boutique art galleries and tasty local eateries. It’s also a short walk from the back entrance of Bogyoke Market, making it easy to start your exploration of the city’s historic downtown district on foot.
Each of the property’s 32 rooms are spacious, colourful and minimalist in style. The hotel’s restaurant (Alex’s) also deserves a special mention with its delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options.
There are not many properties of this size and quality in Yangon, so those keen to stay here will need to plan well in advance.
